2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

We collect and process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content, or where you actively submit data to us. Beyond the server log files described below and the enquiry form, this website processes no personal data.

3. Server Log Files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device, time of server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with IONOS SE.

4. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, the data you transmit (your email address and, if applicable, your name and message) will be stored by us. We do not share this data without your consent. Processing is carried out exclusively to handle your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries), and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns the initiation of a contract. You may object to processing at any time.

5. Enquiry Form

The enquiry form on this website transmits the data you enter (intent, name, company, role, email address, your description of the decision, optional context and timeline) to us. This website operates no database and stores no submissions. Delivery runs through the central IEX Labs Auth Hub (auth.iexlabs.com) via SMTP provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Processing and delivery take place within the European Union. Your IP address is used transiently and in memory only, to limit the number of submissions per connection and to protect the form against automated abuse; it is not written to a database and is not used for any other purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns the initiation of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and in protecting the form against abuse). Providing the data is voluntary; without it we cannot process your enquiry.

6. Technology & AI Disruption Test

The self-assessment offered on this website is evaluated entirely in your browser. Your answers and the resulting score are not transmitted to us, not stored, and not passed on to third parties.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

This website sets no cookies and stores no data in your browser. We use no analytics or tracking services, no audience measurement, no social media plugins, no advertising networks, and no content loaded from third-party servers such as fonts, maps or videos. No profiling and no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. A consent banner is therefore not required; apart from the server log files (section 3) and the data you actively submit through the enquiry form (section 5), no data is processed when you visit this website.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights at any time regarding your stored personal data: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

9. Retention Periods

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. Data from email enquiries and from the enquiry form is deleted no later than upon completion of the matter, unless a contractual relationship has been established. Statutory retention obligations (e.g. under the German Commercial Code or Fiscal Code) remain unaffected.

10. Supervisory Authority

Responsible data protection supervisory authority: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, www.lda.bayern.de

11. IEX Labs apps and online services

Apps and online services operated by IEX Labs (e.g. the mileage-log app IEX Drive at drive.iexlabs.com) have their own service-specific privacy policies, linked directly within each service (e.g. drive.iexlabs.com/datenschutz). Sign-in to these services uses the central iexlabs account (auth.iexlabs.com), which processes name, email address and login credentials (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
